After spending a number of years in Indonesia, we minister at New Tribe Mission's Missionary Training Center. Jim heads up the campus Outreach Ministry-95 students going out each week to over 25 church and non-church ministries in order to share Christ in the community. He interacts and coordinates with the leaders of these ministries, while overseeing the students. He teaches modules on spiritual growth and directs the student praise band for Chapel each week. Connie assists Jim in the office, as well as working on the campus decorating committee and heading up a student paint crew. Both Jim and Connie have weekly one on one mentoring with students in personal spiritual development. Marantha began supporting the Tureks in 1984. |
