purpose

• The name oneeighty comes from 2 Timothy 2:22: "Flee the evil desires of youth, and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart." We want to help students escape the pressures of the world and turn to passionately follow Jesus Christ.

• Our GOAL is simple: to be the friendliest and most exciting place in Cedar Rapids whenever we meet as we connect with God and one another.

• Our PASSION is to know Jesus. Not only did He give up His life for ours, but He also wants to spend an eternity with us. Our greatest satisfaction in life can only come from a relationship with Him. Everything else will ultimately leave us empty. As we passionately pursue Him, we expect to experience God in a very real way - a way in which we truly know Him.

• Our VISION is to make Jesus known. Vision is living by faith; not by sight. It is dreaming as big as possible, believing that God is able! It is believing that we are a part of something bigger than ourselves. It is praying with faith, and expecting that He will reach teenagers in Cedar Rapids and beyond, with the good new about Jesus Christ.
